Abstract
Spanish and Italian 13th-and 14th-century textiles made of silk or linen and bearing geometric designs are preserved in the Textile Collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. For the most part, the pieces are either weft-faced compound twill or lampas. The structure, warp, weft, and dimensions of twelve fragments are presented.
