Abstract
The Whittlesey Foundation reports a number of advances in field equipment and instrumentation that they have developed in the past year for aerial photo surveying and recording of archaeological sites, notably new aerodynamic tethered balloons, tandem camera systems radio controlled from the ground, larger and more versatile bipod camera supports, and film processing to enhance photo imagery of soils for interpretation of occupational features. -- AATA
