Abstract
Construction techniques of the roofs (i.e. ceilings of upper floors) ofBronze Age Aegean houses are described from Akrotiri. Multiple layering includes main ceiling beams, cross beams, vegetable matter, and several earth layers including carefully laid thin even coatings, and produced a weatherproof covering. -- AATA
