This article describes the reconstruction of a late 2nd c. B.C. oil-press which was found in a 1962 excavation on the southern slope of the Rehavia Valley, Israel. The remains were used where possible, and modern replicas of pieces used where necessary, and the oil-press is now in working order; a trial run of pressing olives was successful. -- AATA
