Abstract
Ten obsidian sources were identified and sampled in a 1973 source survey of west Mexico. Eleven sources and sixty-five artifacts were chemically characterized by instrumental neutron activation and multivariate analyses. Preliminary information of source-specific hydration rates is presented.
