Abstract
Activation analysis was carried out on some Bernese coins: the Plappart, minted in 1421 and 1490, the Funfer of 1466 and 1492, and the Rollbatzen of 1492 and 1528. The coins were exposed to neutron irradn. The Au contents of these coins were detd. and tabulated. The low Ag content of the Rollbatzen is attributed to a better refining technique for the Au. The Ag content of the coins was detd. and compared. -- AATA
