Abstract
The workshop produces statues, mostly by lost wax casting, and simpler objects by sand casting, in brass, bronze, or copper, to specific commissions by patrons. A conventional technique of lost wax casting produces objects that are finished by chiselling, chasing, and the addition of inlay. Sand casting uses a mixture of sand and molasses to make piece molds, and is a recent innovation. -- AATA
