Abstract
Description of conservation treatment carried out on fallen wall painting fragments. The plaster was cleaned with tap water and soft tootbrushes. The pieces were assembled in a sandtray with hmg adhesive and the back of the plaster was sealed with a coat of pva emulsion. Only those areas of paint which were friable were consolidated with a 2% solution of paraloid B72. A support was made of fibreglass, reinforced with steel and polyester resin. Silver sand was used for filling.
