Faults often found in panel supports, both original and acquired, are described and some remedies suggested. Blisters are treated with wax-resin made from micro-crystalline wax (Bareco Victory White) and Piccolyte resin S 80 (a natural terpene resin). The wax-resin is dripped onto the surface, heated with a warm spatula, then the area is burnished with the fingernail. Splits are joined with Cascamite, a casein-like resin.
