Abstract
The structure of fibrous materials of macromolecules, which are partially arranged parallel inthe crystalline micro-regions, but partially entangled and agglomerated in non-crystalline regions, causes a special stress-strain behavior compared with other materials. Some practical examples illustrate the meaning of the stress-strain curves and of the moduli for a critical judgment of the properties of the fibrous material under examination. -- AATA
