Abstract
During the 18th century princely families indicated their power through their palaces and their clothing, both their own and their servants. An investigation was made of the various liveries of the Princes of Lichtenstein which appear in the painting <i>Isabella of Austria's Entry to Vienna, 1760 by Mv. Meytens. Evidence was obtained from receipts for liveries from archives, which specified type and cost of materials and names of tailors and embroiderers. -- AATA
