The author prepared methanol by the reaction of carbon dioxide and lithium aluminum hydride from samples to be measured, and used a large volume scintillation counter of 100 cc with 50 cc of methanol in it. The author aims to keep the errors less than 0.2%, that is, Ö5 16 years. Several examples are given. The oldest sample measured is 44200 Ö5 940 years. -- AATA
