The aim of this article is to give a short view of the possibilities of interdisciplinary approach to archaeological objects. For this purpose we have chosen two techniques for the age determination: radiocarbon dating and thermoluminescent dating, two for provience determination: X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and petrological microscopy and finally, for technological characteristics determination: X-ray diffraction and dilatometry. One practical example illustrates each of these techniques.
