A brief description of a test method developed by the International Biodegradation Research group to ascertain the mold resistance of water-based paints with and without fungicides, which can also be used for other paints and varnishes. Assessment of results is carried out visually and under a microscope and a scale of 0-5 based on percentage of total test area covered by mold is used to report the results. -- AATA
