Various undyed textile fibers exposed to the lightfastness tester under different humidity conditions are shown to lose tensile strength to different degrees. Poly(vinyl alcohol), viscose, nylon, and cotton were found to he very sensitive to changes in humidity, whereas Orlon acrylic fiber and Terylene polyester fiber are the least sensitive materials among those tested. -- AATA
