Abstract
The ageing behavior of single fibers in and out of cloth is compared. The results indicate that the rate of ageing is the same for both con-strained and unconstrained fibers and that the fully aged state can be achieved overnight by raising the temperature and choosing a tempera-ture that keeps the regain and fiber dimensions constant. -- AATA
