Nitrate film, black and white acetate film, color acetate film, and video tape are discussed separately, as their different characteristics call for different storage conditions in order to create the best environment for each type of film. Problems one encounters with video tape usage and storage, such as shrinkage and print-thru effect, are of special interest.
