Observations of the annual and daily dew distribution in a tropical area near Hanoi, Vietnam, are discussed; the relationship between steel corrosion and the amount of dew formed is analyzed. It is shown that the corrosion current generated in a model of a copper-iron macrocorrosion element covered with a film of dew increases logarithmically with the amount of dew.
