The history of the Company is reviewed, mention being made of early connections with British bellfounders who used to supply the Dutch market. The non-existence of British bells after the second world war for export led to the setting up of the Company's own foundry to make carillons, church bells, and eventually art castings. The Company has combined old established know-how with the latest technology including the use of electronics for the final tuning of the bells. -- AATA
