Abstract
Eight copper-based metal artifacts from the named site, together with one from Tell Halawa, were studied via metallographic examination and PIXE elemental analyses of cross-sections. The artifacts represented several occupation periods from Early Bronze III-IV to Late Bronze I. They are of generally low tin content and suggest, for example, that an arsenical copper cannot be exclusively equated with an early phase of metallurgy or a tin bronze with a late one. There are various other detailed points of discussion. -- AATA
