Abstract
The fragile pillow was first consolidated with soluble nylon and carried on a sheet of cardboard in a box to the laboratory where fragments were humidified and flattened, cleaned of fragments of stuffing and other foreign material, washed in benzyl alcohol and methylated spirit to remove nylon and finally mounted on silk with synthetic resin adhesive. -- AATA
