Abstract
Archaeological sites at Chichen Itza, Uxmal and Dzibilchaltun in Yucatan and Teotihuacan and Tula near Mexico City were visited by the author. Rock art at these sites consisted of carvings, statuary, and painted friezes. The author describes the present state of preservation of the rock art at these sites and the conservation and restoration work which has been undertaken by the Mexican government to preserve these monuments. -- AATA
