Abstract
Ultra thin paper tissues have many uses in paper conservation where other tissues are too opaque or mechanical/visually disruptive to the artifact. These tissues have been produced using either leaf or vacuum table techniques. This article discusses a very simple method of production using hand casting techniques. Line drawings show the construction of the necessary mould. Suppliers (US addresses), 1 reference.
