Abstract
The study of underdrawings in Flemish paintings of the end of the XVth and beginning of the XVIth century was greatly facilitated by the examinations of the panels by infra-red reflectography. The data supplied by the reflectograms supplement infra-red photography. The clarity of the reflectograms has permitted study of pounced drawings, among other things.
