Abstract
Monumental paintings have sustained damage from atmospheric factors, renovations, and intentional changes to reflect the contemporaneous popular art style. UV, IR, and x-ray emission analysis have been used to identify the original work and techniques and consequently to date, to classify stylistically, and to identify inscriptions on individual works. How the tests were conducted on these works is explained. -- AATA
