Abstract
Discusses two pieces of Medici porcelain: a small jug in thc Herzog Anton Ulrich-Museum,Braunschweig (Maj., Inv. Nr. 53), and an amphora in the British Museum, London (Reg. no. 89, 7-10, 1). Both have polychrome decoration, a rarity for Medici porcelain. They may be dated about 1580. A technical analysis confirms that the Braunschweig piece is Medici porcelain. -- AATA
