We decided to aim primarily at finding a method for rendering the adhesive recognizanle inside the sample. In fact, after having been able to observe through use of a marke, where and how the consolidant is positioned in the painting structure, it will be possible to analyze a wider range of case studies, oriented towards fulfilling the real need emerging from research. For this initial series of tests, we chose several adhesives among those most commonly used in painting conservation.
