Abstract
Some very small crucibles are described, with a volume of up to 70 cm<sup>3</sup>. It follows that the volume of molten metal cannot be over 30 cm<sup>3</sup>. This quantity is enough to cast small objects such as fibulae. Remains of metals support the theory that these crucibles were used by a silversmith. -- AATA
