This article deals with two main themes on the pottery of Tell Keisan: 1) A comparison between delicate and common productions, especially material found in pit #6067 (at level 9) dated about 1100 BC; and 2) A study of amphoras found in level 4 and dated about 700 BC. The question is brought up: Were they imported, and if so, from where? If the answer is yes, they are very similar to those found in Cyprus, particularly in tomb 79 (Salamine) and they are believed to come from there. The article also deals with the results of the petrographic examination of ceramic examples from Tell Keisan, and explains why they employed that method.
