The paper describes the conservation procedures applied to a ceramic pot and its contents, in order to extend the useful life of the items. These had been found at La Huerta, an archaeological site located in the Province of Jujuy, Argentina. The methodological approach considered the least degree intervention criteria, focused on the features, given that these can provide information related to their cultural context. Special emphasis was placed on making supports as a way to protect the artifacts while there were moved, stored and exhibited.
