Abstract
A nuclear microprobe, employing a focussed beam of 2.5 MeV protons and a large scintillation detector for gamma-ray detection, has been applied to the measurement of fluorine distribution in transverse sections of excavated animal and human bone. The limitations of the method are discussed and results given for a number of bone and teeth samples. See also 20-147. -- AATA
