Abstract
During seven field seasons La Blanca Archaeological Project has been conducting excavations at the Acropolis of La Blanca to display its powerful palatial architecture, consisting of stone walls and large sized rooms and vaults. This building occupies an area of 3,500 m2 and a height of about 15 m. Actually it is possible to get a first overall image of what this building was in the Terminal Classic Period and, through its characteristics and the data coming from the excavations, we can know some aspects of the society that built and inhabited it, and establish some hypotheses as to the importance of La Blanca city in that period.
