Abstract
The effects of a single irradiation at 4000 R to induce sterility of Lycteus brunneus larvae were tested. In the first generation a reduced and delayed emergence was observed but in the subsequent generations the number of beetles produced returned to normal. Higher dosages involve a screening problem. -- ICCROM
