Abstract
A method for determination of the depth distribution of open pores in solids is described. It uses l i-6 as a tracer. From the depth profile, the number, size and volume of the pores can be estimated. The measurement was tested with some pieces of chinaware (porcelain). Some applications for archaeometry are discussed. Charts, references.
