Abstract
Report on a new method of encasing human skeletal remains, tested on 7000-year-old bones in a vertical shaft cave in Texas (USA). Because of extreme humidity and lack of air circulation, traditional preservation and removal techniques could not be used. Spray foam insulation provided a quick-setting, protective coating that could later be dissolved with acetone. Illustrations.
