A variety of workshops have been prepared; three general themes will be touched on: collections care, materials & techniques, and conservation treatment. These workshops and notes have been designed or selected to offer teachers (and students insight into the use of chemistry in art conservation, while providing for stimulating labwork. These notes provide a description of each workshop, its particular relevance to conservation, and procedures. Accompanying the notes are various articles which have been reprinted in large number with permission of their publishers for this conference; please request permission before duplicating these articles.
