Investigates the possibility of consolidating a wooden idol with sucrose solutions at room temperature to clarify treatment possibilities of sugar (especially glucose). Modern nondestructive methods, such as nuclear magnetic resonance tomography and x-ray computer tomography, open up new ways of diagnosis and treatment of waterlogged wood.
