Abstract
Commensal rats like Mus musculus, Rathus rattus, and Rattus norvegicus, are the most destructive vertebrate pests in building areas. Based on their behavior, different preventive and curative control methods have been evolved. Systematic use of second generation anticoagulants, such as bromadiolone, can be effectively used in the management of commensal rodent pests.
