Abstract
The results of a study of organic objects in the museum and the effects of insects on deterioration. The main factor responsible for damage of organic objects is described. The specimens collected from the museums were studied under the microscope to identify and determine their reproductive rate. Experiments regarding mortality of termites, beetles, borers, silverfish, and cockroaches were made to determine the efficacy of various insecticides for museum objects. The control museums and insecticidal treatments are also described.
