This memo describes attempts to remove ball point pen ink from paper with three commercially available preparations. The three products used were Ball Point Ink Remover, Erado-Sol, and Chloramine-T. Chloramine-T when used in solution with water gave the best results, although this bleach must be used with extreme caution on printed matter, as it tends to remove both the ball point ink and the printing.
