Abstract
Analysis of undecorated ceramics, using a seventeen-variable attribute matrix, from Postclassic sites on Cozumel, Quitana Roo, Mexico suggests increasing cultural uniformity throughout the Postclassic period. The research indicates the value of plainwares in archaeological research when many variables are examined, even when small sample sizes are used.
