Abstract
1. Morphological changes were found in livers of rats and chicks after acute poisoning with ethylene dibromide (EDB). 2. In rats, EDB induced sinusoidal dilations and centrilobular necrosis, beginning from 8 hr after poisoning. 3. In chicks the central areas were almost unchanged and portal areas were found to be affected by EDB: the concentration of eosinophilic granulocytes was much greater in EDB-treated livers than in controls.
