Analysis of the static and dynamic behavior of a monumental and historic construction (the bridge of Santa Trinità in Florence) which can be applied to all structures of historic monuments: computer techniques adapted to the problems of modern technology, study of the geometrical form of arcades, calculation of the elasticity of materials, and the translation in number and graphic tables, and the stresses and deformations of structures.
