Abstract
When taking down historic architectural elements with a view to rebuilding them into a new environment, good records must be kept to enable the rebuilding into the new building. Structural considerations have also to be taken into account when rebuilding into a new environment, as in the case of building into the Burrell Collection in Glasgow.
