This study attempts to formulate conservation postulates for a 19th century town by means of a tabular presentation of the analysis of its spatial and architectural values. The analysis was made on the example of a part of the center of ódz with buildings from the 19th century and a characteristic layout; the scope of the analysis has been limited to the requirements of the town's revival, focussing upon features that determined cultural values such as the time of the creation of the structure, the present condition of architectural forms and elements of the interiors, artistic values, style features and historic values, as well as qualities of its usefulness for revival purposes. The proposed method of a tabular rendering of the analysis of values as a graphical presentation of conservation postulates can be applied to various complexes of 19th century buildings.
