Abstract
The fluorescence under ultraviolet light of linseed oil films and films of some natural resins has been studied with a fluorescence spectrometer. Both materials fluoresce only after some degradation has taken place. The fluorescence appears to be closely related to the processes causing yellowing. See also AATA 19-462.
