This article is included in a publication devoted entirely to the Talavera pottery of Puebla (Mexico). It studies extensively the Oriental, mainly Chinese, influences on this kind of pottery, with observations on the blue powders used and the designs. Photos illustrate the pieces and have explanatory captions. An appendix has supplementary information on the historical background of this pottery from the vice-regal period up to the present time.
