Abstract
Analysis of 201 glass specimens by x-ray fluorescence; surface corrosion is slight in those samples containing over 60 mol percent silica. Crusting and pitting in various degrees is evident when the silica content is less. Those containing over 6 mol percent magnesia are greatly deteriorated.
