A section of the article deals with plans connected with The Conservation Institute in the new Getty Center for the History of Art and the Humanities. The role of The Conservation Institute would be mainly concerned with the enhancement of the quality of conservation work world-wide by facilitating exchanges of information and experience, by scientific research, and by advanced training programs. -- AATA
