Abstract
In this paper, we summarize the results of the research undertaken on the Archetectonic Central Space. We expound on the concepts to which it alludes, the origins on which it is based, the geometries that originated it, the three formal directions in which it has appeared throughout history: space-volume, conceived as from outside in, space-cavity, conceived as from inside out and space-fluid as a synthesis of both. We especially mention the keys of its evolution, typological transformation, permanence and current status, such as: the tensional agreement-disagreement; the constructive advances, the formal treatment of the materials, the systems of access, and the assessment of light.
